Three decades later, her passion for textiles led her back to those vibrant designs—and eventually to Guatemala, where she began researching traditional motifs and weaving methods. Soon after, Archive New York was born.The design process starts with seeking out antique and increasingly rare fabric samples, especially from regions where weaving traditions are fading.
